Closing a goal-based savings account

To close a goal-based savings account

1. From the Home page, click or tap the coin associated with the goal you want to close.
2. On the account details page, click or tap the Details tab.
3. Click or tap Transfer and close goal.
   Tip: If you have reached your goal, the Transfer and close goal button is located at the top of the details page. Otherwise, this button is located at the bottom of the screen.
4. On the Close and transfer page, select the reason for closing your account and click or tap Continue.

If the account you close has no balance, you will receive a confirmation page. Your account is now closed and all recurring transfers to your account are canceled.

If the account you close has a balance above $0, you will see an account selection box on the confirmation page. Select the account you want to deposit your funds to and click or tap Continue.

On the success confirmation page, you can create a new goal or click or tap Not now to return to the Home page.
