Sessions

The Sessions page contains data to help you better understand how your users access digital banking. On this dashboard, you can view information such as the number of sessions and login errors for a given date range.

Tip: This report is Zone-aware, meaning it only includes data from the selected Zone. For more information, see the About Zones help topic.

Terms

The following table defines terms you may encounter when using the Sessions page.

Term Definition
Total sessions The total number of sessions within the time duration you have selected.
Mobile device sessions The number of sessions that occurred on mobile devices.
Desktop device sessions The number of sessions that occurred on desktop devices.
Average authentication time (seconds) The average time it takes for the application to log the end user in to digital banking.

Prevented login attempts

The Prevented login attempts card provides data on the most common login errors that end users experience. The following table describes each error code.

Error code Definition
Expired password The end user's password has expired. This term appears as UserLogonPasswordStatusExpired in the database.
Expired temporary password The end user's temporary password has expired. This term appears as UserLogonPasswordStatusInitialPasswordExpired in the database.

External authentication log on failed

The external authentication used for signing in failed. This term appears ExternalAuthLogonFailed as in the database.

Incorrect password The end user entered an incorrect password. This term appears as UserLogonPasswordStatusFailed in the database.
Incorrect password, next invalid locks out The end user entered an incorrect password. They will be locked out of their account after another invalid attempt. This term appears as UserLogonPasswordStatusNextInvalidLocksOut in the database.
Locked out The end user is locked out of their account. This term appears as UserLogonPasswordStatusLockedOut in the database.
SAC/TAC contact required The end user must include a contact for their Secure Access Code. This term appears as UserLogonPasswordStatusNoTacTargets in the database.
SAC/TAC required The end user must enter a Secure Access Code to log in to digital banking. This term appears as UserLogonTacRequired in the database.
System error The end user cannot log in to digital banking because of an issue within the system. This term appears as UserLogonException in the database.
New user SAC/TAC required The end user is a new user that has entered an incorrect password. This term appears as UserLogonNewUserTACRequired in the database.
New user locked out The end user is a new user that is locked out of their account. This term appears as UserLogonNewUserLostPasswordFailed in the database.
Browser registration count exceeded The end user has exceeded the browser registration count. This term appears as UserLogonBrowserRegistrationCountExceeded in the database.
Password disabled The end user's password has been disabled. This term appears as UserLogonPasswordStatusDisabled in the database.
Token required The end user must enter a Verisign token to access their account. This term appears as UserLogonTokenRequired in the database.
Two tokens required The end user must enter two Verisign tokens to access their account. This term appears as UserLogonTwoTokensRequired in the database.
User disabled The User is disabled. This term appears as UserLogonStatusDisabled in the database.
