Managing campaigns
After you have created a campaign, you can edit, copy, pause, or stop the campaign.
You can complete the following actions on the Campaigns page:
You can make changes to any campaign with a status of drafted,
To edit a campaign
- On the Home page, select the Campaigns icon.
- On the Campaigns page, select the status icon or the More icon (
) for the campaign you want to edit. Then, select Edit.
- Make any necessary changes to the campaign.
- Once you complete your changes, select Save.
To create a campaign that is similar to an existing one, you can save time by copying the existing campaign. Then, make changes to one or more features to create a whole new campaign. This is convenient for various purposes, such as:
- A/B testing—also called split testing, this method involves comparing two versions of a campaign: A and B.
- Multivariate testin —a technique for testing a campaign in which multiple variables are modified. The goal of multivariate testing is to determine which combination of variations performs the best out of all of the possible combinations.
To copy an existing campaign
- On the Home page, select the Campaigns icon.
- On the Campaigns page, select More (
) for the campaign you want to copy.
- Select Copy.
You can temporarily stop a campaign from running at any time by pausing it.
To pause a campaign
- On the Home page, select the Campaigns icon.
- On the Campaigns page, select More (
) for the campaign you want to pause.
- Select Pause.
You can resume a paused campaign at any time.
To resume a paused campaign
- On the Home page, select the Campaigns icon.
- On the Campaigns page, select More (
) for the campaign you want to resume.
- Select Resume.
To stop a campaign before its designated end date, you can stop and archive it.
To stop and archive an existing campaign
- On the Home page, select the Campaigns icon.
- On the Campaigns page, select More (
) for the campaign you want to stop and archive.
- Select Archive campaign.
