Building custom campaigns

In addition to recommended campaigns generated by SMART, you can create a custom campaign based on a specific need identified by your FI.

Complete the following tasks to build a custom campaign.

  1. On the Campaigns page, select Build campaign (Build campaign button) to open the Campaign builder. Alternatively, you can select Build campaign from the Home page.
  2. At the bottom of the Recommended campaigns list, select Build a custom campaign.
  3. Enter a name for your custom campaign under the Campaign name field.
  4. Select an option from the What would you like to do? list.
  5. Select an option from the second drop-down list. This drop-down option is dependent on the previous selection.
  6. Select Build this campaign.
  1. From the Target people who match list, select either any traits below or all traits below.
  2. To determine who the campaign targets, select Add a trait to your audience. Then, select traits or a custom audience and select Add. For more information on traits, see Defining traits.
  3. For each trait, complete the additional options to further specify the target audience.
  4. (Optional) To include your entire user base in the campaign, select Target all online banking users.
  5. (Optional) To exclude users from the campaign audience, select Exclude people > Add an exclusion to this audience. Then, select an exclusion or custom audience from the lists provided.
    6. After you have added traits or a custom audience, you can view the audience size for the campaign in the Overview section.
  6. After you set the audience, select Next: Select creatives.
  1. On the Select creatives type page, select the ad placement area for the creative you want to include in the campaign. You can define any or all ad placements for each trait or audience. For more information on ad placements, see Ad locations.
  2. Select Next: Add / upload creatives.
  1. On the Upload creatives page, choose an ad placement, and then select Click to add image.
  2. Select an ad from the library, or select the Upload new ad tab to import your own. Then, select Use ad.
  3. In the Alt Text field, describe the image or call to action for the visually impaired.
    4. For Text and icon, select an icon from the library and enter the text that will appear next to the icon.
  4. Repeat the ad selection process as needed for each placement type.
  5. Select Next: Details.
  1. Enter the campaign details by completing the following fields:
    • Start date and time—when ads begin appearing for users
    • (Optional) End date and time—when ads stop appearing
    • (Optional) Destination URL—the web page that users see when they select an ad in the campaign.
  2. After you enter the campaign details, select Next: Review campaign.
  • Review the details of your campaign, and then select Launch. Alternatively, select Save as draft to save the campaign and return to it later.
